Kishimoto’s Naruto and Boruto universe doesn’t shy away from creating amazing female characters. In fact, the strongest character in the entire series is a female. Naruto had many powerful female characters, but some of them are either dead or have retired from the life of a shinobi. In today’s post, I’ve decided to rank the strongest female characters in Boruto.

Let’s begin—

10. Hinata Hyuga



Hinata Hyuga is the wife of the Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. I know many of you will think it is unfair to put her on No. 10. But, she hasn’t really been a ninja ever since she had Boruto and Himawari. Hinata is out of touch. Besides, even in Boruto, her official rank is just a Chūnin.

9. Mirai Sarutobi




Mirai Sarutobi is a Chūnin from the Sarutobi Clan. She is the daughter of Kurenai Yuhi and Asuma Sarutobi. Mirai is an extremely powerful Ninja, who holds the potential to surpass even get father. Right now, she’s a Chūnin, but she has been chosen as the personal guard of the 6th and 7th Hokage on several occasions.
8. Moegi



Moegi is a Jonin from Konohagakure. She was once a member of Team Ebisu. Right now, she is the leader of Team Moegi, which includes Inojin Yamanaka, Shikadai Nara, and Chocho Akimichi. Her strength is unknown, but being a Jonin, she must be very powerful. I would be disappointed if she wasn’t.

7. Ino Yamanaka



Ino Yamanaka is best sensor type ninja that Konoha has. She may not be as powerful, but just like Shikamaru, she’s good at doing something else entirely. Ino is a powerful female character, and during the 4th Great Ninja War, she was able to connect the entire Shinobi Alliance through her sensory techniques.

6. Temari



Temari was once a Jonin of Sunagakure. After she married Shikamaru, she became a Kunoichi of Konohagakure. She is also a talented Ninja. Her Wind Release skills are second only to Naruto in the entire series, and she even managed to become a Jonin at a very young age.

5. Hanabi Hyuga



Hanabi Hyuga’s exact rank is unknown, but I’m sure she’s a Jonin. She is the sister of Hinata Hyuga. She’s said to be the most talented person in the Hyuga Clan, and is thus the heiress of the Hyuga Clan. Hanabi’s skills were said to be on par with Neji, who was also a genius himself. Further, she’s way stronger than Hinata.

4. Mei Terumī



Mei Terumī was the 5th Mizukage of Kirigakure. She’s retired from the life of a Kage right now, but I’m not sure if she’s retired as a Shinobi completely. She was in her thirties in Naruto, and now, she would also be the same age that Tsunade was in Naruto Shippuden. So, she isn’t all that old. I haven’t included Tsunade because we know she’s retired. I’m not sure about Mei.

3. Kurotsuchi



Kurotsuchi is the 4th Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. She’s a wonderful Kunoichi, who was even able to fight and subdue Kinshiki Otsutsuki. Kurotsuchi is extremely powerful, and she also has the Lava Release Kekkei Genkai as well. Further, she also has the ability to use powerful Genjutsu.

2. Sakura Haruno



Sakura Haruno is the strongest female character in Boruto. She is at the same power level as Tsunade, only younger. We don’t really need any feats from her, as we all know what she’s capable of. She is still an active Kunoichi, and her medical Ninjutsu is also a big asset to Konohagakure.

1. Kaguya Otsutsuki




Kaguya Otsutsuki may not be a part of the Boruto anime, but she’s definitely alive. She has only been sealed away. However, I don’t think she is going to return in the series. Without any doubt, Kaguya is the strongest character in the entire Naruto and Boruto series. Nobody comes close to her power level, not even Hagoromo Otsutsuki.
