7. Shinno inner gates

Later in the anime, when Lee was seventeen, he learns to open the Sixth Gate, and some time after the Fourth Shinobi War, he was able to open the Seventh Gate as well.

Might Duy was the father of the great Might Guy. Duy was also weak at Ninjutsu when in Academy, and was known as the Eternal Genin. Duy was a legend in his own way. He then secretly trained himself to open all the Eight Inner Gates up to the Eight Gate of Death, which is an extraordinary feat.

When fighting against the Seven Swordsman of the Mist, he opened all the Eight Inner Gates, which ended up killing him. Might Duy did this to save his son Might Guy, and his comrades. He was able to kill at least four swordsmen and the other three ran for their lives.

Duy was also the who taught Guy how to use the Eight Inner Gates technique. Later, Guy took inspiration from him, and tried to do exactly what his father did in the previous Ninja War.

Kakashi Hatake, the Sixth Hokage of Konohagakure was also the user of Eight Inner Gates. Kakashi Hatake has been seen opening the first gate, but we don’t know if can open more gates or not. Kakashi Hatake opened this one gate during the rock climbing drill. He has been seen using the front Lotus Technique which is only possible after opening the first gate.

The great shinobi of Konohagakure, Might Guy, is the son of Might Duy. Like his father, he trained very hard to be an expert in Taijutsu. He learned to use all the Eight Inner Gates from his father. When he battled Madara Uchiha during the Fourth Great War, he opened all the Eight Inner Gates and absolutely beat the crap out of Madara, while Madara seemed helpless. Madara later declared that Might Guy was his toughest opponent ever. Might Guy successfully passed down this knowledge of opening all eight inner gates to his student Rock Lee.
