Boruto: Naruto Next Generations January 2018 Schedule

Before discussing the January 2018 schedule let us look how December went for Boruto. In my opinion, December 2017 for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was flawless.

Starting from the graduation exams in episode 37 in which we saw Kakashi Hatake teaching Boruto and the rest of the students what a shinobi’s resolve really is. From that episode, the Anime really picked up the pace.

Then, in episode 38 the three men squads were made. In that episode, we witnessed the formation of the new generation of Ino-Shika-Chō. We also saw Iwabee Yuino, Denki Kaminarimon and Rock Lee team up as fans were excited to see in which team they will end up. Denki and Iwabee weren’t seen in the movie.

Lastly, the new team 7 of Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki being formed. In the last episode of December, which was episode 39, we saw the back story of Mitsuki and the most awaited animation of the sage mode of Mitsuki which lived up to fans expectations as it was just awesome. I must admit that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is becoming better every week.

Now, I will discuss the January 2018 schedule.

3-January-2018

Damn it! I’m sorry to disappoint Boruto fans but on 3 January no episodes will be aired. As January 2018 schedule of Boruto doesn’t show any episode will be released on this date. Believe ruined my mood. I went from happy to sad when I came to know about it as we will have to wait an extra week for the next episode.

10-January-2018

According to January 2018 schedule, on the 10th of January 2018, episode 40 of Boruto will be released and its title has already shown in the preview. The title is “Team 7: First Mission.” In this episode, the new Team 7 consisting of Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki which is headed by a Jōnin, Konohamaru Sarutobi will be assigned their first mission. Their mission will be to get rid of some bandits who have been attacking a certain village. And a new character which was shown in the preview, who is a girl will be introduced. The girl was shown with binoculars and her name is Kiri. She is the daughter of the head of the village, who suddenly passed away and now she has taken his place. I think this episode will lay the base for some epic battles that I hope will follow later on in the Arc.

8. 17-January-2018

Episode 41: The Power of Unity will be released on 17 January 2018. Originally, the mission of Boruto and his Team 7 was to make a certain village safe from bandits but that will not be the case as the so-called bandits are some ninja in disguise.

These ninjas then kidnap Kiri, the new character to be introduced in episode 40. The villagers plead the Team Seven to rescue Kiri and Konohamaru Sarutobi also thinks that his team is capable of rescuing Kiri from those ninjas. So, the mission changes to a rescue mission in which we hope to get to see some thrilling action. It is much like what happened at the time of Naruto’s first mission when his team ended up facing Zabuza. Let us hope some nice villain like Zabuza shows up this time as well.

25-January-2018

On 25 January 2018 episode 42 of Boruto will be released. It is titled “The Work Of Shinobi.” Till now Team 7 is receiving below par and easy missions as per Boruto Uzumaki who is not at all satisfied with this.

Finally, Boruto thinks some action might happen, and he might be able to show off his abilities when Team 7 is assigned a mission to capture a bank robber. It turns out that this man is an ordinary man with no ninja abilities or powers, He has lost his job recently. So, Boruto Uzumaki is naturally more irritated and disappointed with this.

He might even go to his father, Naruto Uzumaki, on his own, and demand higher-ranked missions. This episode might well as be a filler as I do not think that it is so important to the storyline and mainly as the next episode has an entirely different story to tell us.

31-January-2018

Episode 43 of Boruto will be released on 31 January 2018. It will be titled as “Appearance of White Night Band.” This White Night Band is a group of thieves who call themselves righteous thieves. They think stealing from rich and giving it to poor like Robin Hood used to do is a righteous deed.

Recently the White Night band has been active in Konohagakure and is suspected of some events that have recently occurred. Boruto Uzumaki dislikes this group as he is of the opinion that stealing from others is wrong no matter what the reason. Boruto then goes to his best friend Shikadai Nara and asks his views on this matter to which Shikadai Nara says things like this cannot be measured by good or evil. In my opinion, Boruto might take things into his own hands and act on his own. Boruto isn’t rash like his father so I believe that he might come up with a good plan.

7-February-2018

Episode 44 titled “Shikadai’s Doubt” will be released on 7 February 2018. As of now, no spoilers of this episode are released other than the title. We’ll share more spoilers as soon as they are out.
