The Sulong Form Of The Minks – All Powers Explained

Hey everyone! Today, I wanna talk about the Mink tribe, and their secret power, called the Sulong form. The Mink tribe are a race that live on the Phantom Island called Zou. It happens to be on the back of a huge elephant named Zunisha. The Minks are humanoids, with animal like features. They are extremely powerful species, and call themselves a warrior tribe.

The Mink tribe were introduced to us properly during the Zou arc. Most of this happened because Jack of the Beasts Pirates came there looking for a ninja named Raizo. At that time, a huge fight took place between the Beasts Pirates, and the Minks. Ultimately, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi did get the upper hand. However, Jack poisoned them all, and ultimately, they lost.

As the Strawhats treated the Minks, we found out more about them. The Minks later became the allies of the Strawhat Pirates. They will also help in taking down Kaido in the War of Wano.

Now that I’ve discussed the basic idea of what Minks are, and what their role in the future will be, I wanna talk about their abilities. The Minks are said to be a warrior tribe, as I mentioned before.

It is said that even the kids in this race know how to fight. The strong ones, like the musketeers, are very powerful. They are more or less equivalent to the ministers of the Yonko Crews.

They also have two leaders, one known as Inuarashi, and the other known as Nekomamushi. Both Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi are very powerful. They were with both Gol D. Roger, and Whitebeard as well, which says a lot about them.

Each of these two was able to match Jack the Drought in battle, who is a Yonko Commander. That certainly means their power is equal to that of a Yonko Commander. The Minks has superhuman strength, speed and stamina as well. They are extremely hard to match in a battle. Further, they also have the ability to generate electricity in their attacks, and that is an ability known as Electro.

We haven’t really seen them in full swing, but recently, in One Piece Chapter 888, we got to see the full power of a Mink. I’m talking about Carrot here.

Apparently, a mink’s true power awakens when they stare at a full moon. During a full moon, they undergo a transformation, which makes them a lot more powerful than before, and they are completely different in this form. This transformation is known as the Sulong form.

Carrot was the first mink to display this ability, after being trained by Pedro, who himself was one of the higher ranking Minks.

The Sulong form is extremely powerful, and while we haven’t seen the true power of this form, it was extremely overwhelming. Carrot basically gained the power to destroy an entire Fleet of Big Mom’s Pirate ships on her own.

Even though a minister, as strong as Daifuku was right in front of her, she didn’t waver, and it is possible that this transformation of hers puts her on par with the ministers of Big Mom. I like that the Sulong transformation is overpowered.

Some may be mad about how it turned Carrot into a completely different person, but to me, it makes sense, because she cannot use this transformation at will.

It is limited to the full moon nights only. So, even if this form is overpowered, I don’t mind at all. We’re likely going to see more of the Sulong form of carrot in the Chapter 889 of One Piece next week, and it is going to be amazing, without a doubt.

It is also possible that if Pedro himself was left in a near death state when he bombed himself, the Sulong form might be able to save him as well.

We won’t find out anytime soon though. But, let me know what you think of this form.

If Carrot was able to gain this strength by transforming, I can’t even imagine how powerful Inuarashi and Nekomamushi will get once they transform under a full moon. They were already Yonko Commander level, and now, if they transform, they’ll get even stronger!

I would like to see them in full swing against Jack again, and if they do get to fight him, I don’t think Jack can pull off a win against them in the Sulong form.
